With email service, you can send documents to friends and colleagues quickly. Of course, this functionality is available on Gmail.
Note: If it’s a directory, you have to compress it before sending.
How to send files, documents, photos via Gmail
This way you can only attach files under 25 MB. If you want to send files larger than 25 MB using Gmail, see the instructions here
Step 1: Sign in your Gmail account.
Step 2: Press Compose to write a new message.
Step 3: You can insert the file, the document, the picture into the outgoing mail as marked in the picture below.
Step 4: For send files larger than 25 MB will be a little more “procedure”, which is attached to the file through the Google Drive service. You press the button to continue.
Step 5: Select the Upload tab and then click Choose files from your computer.
Step 6: After selecting the file, click Upload to start the upload process. The speed is fast or slow depending on the size of file you upload.
Step 7: Once the file is successfully uploaded, the file will be attached to the Gmail message as shown below. You can compose and send now.
